I just saw this video the other day and thought it was amazing. Reminds me of the stuff the Joker does in The Dark Knight. Anyways, this is the Joker’s fatality in the upcoming Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe for the 360 and PS3. Absolutely hilarious.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is an amazing game with a beautiful and expansive Hyrule to explore and dozens of lively characters to meet. Alot of those characters are a little… weird. I’ve stumbled upon a list of the ten goofiest characters from Twilight Princess. Click the link below to check out the list. There are some minor spoilers though.
Nintendo stated that they will be adding new virtual console games every Monday starting today. Early this morning Nintendo has kept their promise and uploaded four new virtual console games to the Wii Shopping Channel.
Below is a quick overview of the new additions.

Donkey Kong Jr.
Nintendo Entertainment System - 500 Wii Points

Ristar
Sega Genesis - 800 Wii Points

Columns
Sega Genesis - 800 Wii Points

Victory Run
TurboGrafx-16 - 600 Wii Points
I have never played any of these, but Ristar and Columns look fun. I personally think Nintendo should release some more popular virtual console games such as Starfox 64 and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Anyone have any opinions on the games? Leave a comment.
Microsoft has announced that they will be offering high definition movies and television shows via their Xbox Live Marketplace download service onto the Xbox 360 hard drive. The service will be launched on November 22. Pricing has not yet been announced, but Microsoft said it will be competitive, with a small premium for HD content. Xbox Live will offer over 1000 hours of content by the end of the year from companies such as CBS, MTV, Paramount, and Warner Bros. Television shows will be available to download to keep, but movies however, will only be able to be “rented” for a certain amount of time.
I’m sure all you Xbox 360 owners are looking forward to this.

E3, the most famous and anticipated gaming event of the year has not been cancelled. There will infact be an E3 2007, although the ESA has announced several changes to the show.
First off, E3 will now be know as “The E3 Media Festival” and it will be drastically downsized to allow only 5,000 attendees (E3 2006 had roughly 60,000 attendees). Also, E3 2007 will be taking place in July, and will NOT be in the enormous LA Convention center. Instead, it will be held within two Los Angeles hotels.
Why is this happening? Well, many publishers are sick of paying large sums of money for the overwhelming convention and thus, the ESA has decided on warping it into and “a more intimate event focused on targeted, personalized meetings and activities.”
This seems to be a huge change for the gaming industry. Will it affect the industry as a whole? Will it blow? We’ll find out in about a year.

Many rumors have been floating around the internet today that the Electronics Entertainment Expo we all know and love will cease to exist as we know it. According to Next Gen, “Publishers believe the multi-million dollar budgets would be better spent on more company-focused events that bring attention to their own product lines rather than the industry as a whole.”
This means that many publishers may hold their own events to reveal their new games and other surprises. Does that mean a return for Nintendo’s Spaceworld? Maybe.
