According to the official Wii website, the Wii Internet Channel by Opera will be available for download on your Wii this Friday. The Browser is just a trial however, and is rumored not to be anywhere close to the full, final product which has been slated for a March 2007 release. But remember, this is just a rumor. Either way, I cannot wait to try out the Wii Internet Browser on Friday!
Opera also made a cool comic celebrating the browsers “release”. Click here to check it out.

Another Monday, another batch of virtual console games added to the Wii Shopping Channel. And yet again, I don’t think I will be downloading any of them. Come on Nintendo! Release some real classics! Here is a quick overview of this weeks additions.

Tennis
Nintendo Entertainment System - 500 Wii Points
1-2 Players

Space Harrier II
Sega Genesis - 800 Wii Points
1 Player

Military Madness
TurboGrafx-16 - 600 Wii Points

Nintendo needs to release some more N64 games soon. Super Mario 64 is getting pretty lonely. Do you plan on buying any of these? Are there some classic games you would like to see in the Wii Shopping Channel? Leave a comment.

I found an interesting article today about a group of isolated lions that have become larger and more powerful than other lions in order to hunt their only source of food, Buffalo. The lions were stranded, along with a herd of buffalo, on a small island in the Okavango Delta 15 years ago when the river changed course. The lions have since become larger and stronger in order to hunt their new, more powerful prey. The lions have also learned to swim in order to ambush their new prey. To counteract the lions, the buffalo have formed one superherd on the island, and sometimes will attack the lions in order to rescue one of their own.
Check out the full article here.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is an amazing game with a beautiful and expansive Hyrule to explore and dozens of lively characters to meet. Alot of those characters are a little… weird. I’ve stumbled upon a list of the ten goofiest characters from Twilight Princess. Click the link below to check out the list. There are some minor spoilers though.
